Fisherman Rod Fish 4 Funds Community Initiative – Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions must be read in conjunction with the general terms and conditions of use of the website located at www.compareni.com and the privacy policy. By filling in the entry form with Us in accordance with the procedure set out below, You agree that You have read these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
This Community Initiative, known as ‘Fish 4 Funds’ (“Community Initiative”) is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). By entering this Community Initiative the entrants (“You”) are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
This Community Initiative is organised by CompareNI.com which is a trading style of Seopa Ltd who are a limited company registered in Northern Ireland. Registered number: NI046322. Registered office: SEOPA LTD, Floor 4, Blackstaff Studios, 8-10 Amelia Street, Belfast, Northern Ireland, BT2 7GS. (“CompareNI.com”).
How to Qualify
You must be resident in the UK, aged 17 years of age or older to complete the entry form but you can enter any team, including a youth team or club.
All entries should be not-for-profit, businesses are not eligible to enter this community initiative and will not be included in the prize draw.
You will qualify for consideration for this opportunity by competing the short online entry form on the CompareNI.com Website (link below), from 01st August 2024 until the Community Initiative is terminated by CompareNI.com subject to the remainder of these Terms and Conditions.
You will not qualify for the opportunity if you live outside Northern Ireland.
Only online entry forms completed through CompareNI.com from the 01st August 2024 will qualify. Note – organisations can only win once, e.g. if a football club enters several ages groups, if one team should win, the rest will be withdrawn from the competition going forward.

To enter the opportunity, known as Fisherman Rod’s Fish 4 Funds Community Initiative, you must complete all parts of the online form and click submit. You must complete the form accurately. If the information is inaccurate, we may not be able to include your entry in the opportunity.
CompareNI.com reserve the right to amend or vary this Community Initiative or the Terms and Conditions at any time and without prior notice and to cancel this Community Initiative in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside CompareNI.coms reasonable control. Any change to the Community Initiative or the Terms and Conditions will be posted on www.compareni.com.
CompareNI.com cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by You for entering the opportunity. CompareNI.com is not responsible for any failure of an entry to be received for any reason whatsoever. Nothing shall exclude CompareNI.coms liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence. However, You enter this Community Initiative at your own risk and CompareNI.com cannot accept liability for any loss suffered by You as a result of your own negligence.

Choosing a Winner
All eligible entrants will be checked and added to a successful entrant list.
CompareNI.com will then use a third-party app to ensure the Winner is chosen at random – a recording of the process will be taken and filed for verification.
Five winners will be chosen throughout the year using this automated method, from 1st August 2024 – 1st June 2025 – the frequency of which the five winners will be chosen is at the discretion of CompareNI.com.
Notifying the Winner
The Winner will be contacted via the email and phone number provided on the entry form, failure to respond within 4 weeks will result in a redraw.
Each Winner i.e. club or team will be awarded a one off payment of £1000 in total.
Five winners will be awarded £1000 each to support their community team or club in total across the year, the funds will be paid directly into the team/club bank account via BACS transfer. Each Winner shall be responsible for sharing and verifying the team/clubs bank account details with CompareNI.com in order to receive the £1000.
Publicity
Winners will be included in press and social media materials and will be required for a winning photograph and/or video and a visit from Fisherman Rod – not all winners will be needed for publicity and not all winners will have the opportunity to meet Fisherman Rod, this shall be subject to availability. Before a visit from Fisherman Rod commences the team or club must sign a publicity consent form ensuring all team members at the visit are happy to be photographed, filmed and appear in press and across social media.
Eligibility
All teams and clubs resident in Northern Ireland are eligible to enter, there are no restrictions on age – but the person who enters must be over 17.
Forms will be vetted prior to entering them into the prize draw to ensure the age restrictions have been met, the entrants live in Northern Ireland and all details have been completed.
Seopa staff and family members are permitted and encouraged to enter the Community Initiative to help drive the opportunity and encourage local communities to get involved.
Limitation of liability
Your entry and any information submitted by You must be personal to and relate specifically to You. You hereby warrant that your entry and all information which You submit and/or distribute will not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything which is libellous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening. If relevant, CompareNI.com reserves the right, but not the obligation, to screen, filter and/or monitor information provided by You and to edit, refuse to distribute or remove the same.
Neither We nor any of our employees or other representatives will be liable to You for any loss or damage incurred by You arising out of or in connection with your entry including, without limitation, indirect, or consequential loss or damage, loss of anticipated revenues, loss of business opportunities, loss of goodwill, loss or corruption of data or damage to reputation resulting from your inability to register your entry.
We will not be liable for any failure to provide the Community Initiative if caused by supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure being an event(s) which, without the fault of any party, renders performance impossible or incapable of satisfactory execution. If such circumstances arise, we reserve the right at our sole discretion to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend this opportunity.
We accept no liability or responsibility for claims lost, delayed or undelivered, nor any liability for technical errors or communication failures in networks and/or internet access.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall operate to limit or exclude Our liability for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or for fraud (including, but not limited to, fraudulent misrepresentation) or for that which cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to this condition we accept no liability or responsibility for any loss or damage You suffer as a result of your £1000 support fund.
Further, nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall affect your statutory rights.
General
This Community Initiative is subject to availability and We reserve the right to substitute or remove the Community Initiative at any time. We will try to give as much notice as We can when doing this. Any such amendments will be published on compareni.com.
CompareNI.com assumes that by entering into the Community Initiative (and You warrant that) You are aged 17 or over.
CompareNI.com reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe You have breached any of the Terms and Conditions.
We may refuse the opportunity and terminate Your registration if at any time We suspect that You have been involved in: any abuse or attempted abuse of the Community Initiative; any breach or attempted breach of these Terms & Conditions; any breach or attempted breach of the general use of website terms and conditions on www.compareni.com; any activity which in Our reasonable opinion constitutes misuse or abuse of compareni.com; any fraud or breach of any terms applicable to the opportunity.
If any provision of these Terms & conditions are held by a competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these Terms & Conditions will not be affected and will remain valid.
We shall use any personal data you supply to us from the entry form in accordance with our privacy policy and data protection legislation. By completing the entry form you agree to the collection, retention, use and distribution of your personal data in order to process and contact you about the opportunity.
Unless expressly stated in these Terms & Conditions, nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall confer any rights on any person under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Any intellectual property rights existing in and to the Community Initiative and any trading names associated or used in the Community Initiative, are and shall remain the property of Us or Our group companies at all times.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland. Any dispute arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
These Terms & Conditions will only apply as between Us and You. Unless as otherwise stated in these Terms no other person may benefit or rely upon these Terms and Conditions.
The Community Initiative is governed by the law of Northern Ireland and any dispute or claim will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
